DataGryd Signs Agreement with First 60 Hudson Street Tenant for 69,000 Square Feet

A national data center provider has licensed space to meet the increasing demand for New York City mission-critical infrastructure and connectivity

DataGryd Data Centers, LLC, a leading wholesale data center operator at 60 Hudson Street in Manhattan, has licensed 69,000 gross square feet, representing approximately 50 percent of its phase one offering, to a national multi-tenant data center provider. The new facility at New York City’s landmark data center property will enable the provider to expand its existing capacity in the building and continue to deliver interconnection and data center solutions to its clients.

“We are excited to support the expansion of one of America’s leading data center providers by delivering the tenant a custom-designed solution,” said Peter Feldman, CEO of DataGryd. “Lower Manhattan has one of the world’s most concentrated networks of Internet connectivity and the trend only continues to grow. Critical needs for tenants including proximity, scale and advanced connectivity infrastructure are hallmarks of 60 Hudson, positioning this unique data center above other providers.”

60 Hudson Street is considered one of the world’s most connected buildings, operating as a global hub for international communications traffic. DataGryd’s multi-floor facility offers over 240,000 square feet of high-density data center space with mission-critical infrastructure systems.
